In an effort to help Tonga after the most recent volcanic eruption and tsunami that took place on January 15th, ISEC and a number of other major security providers have stepped in helped provide 16 pallets of bottled water as well as other non perishable supplies. This equates to 29,376 x 600ml bottles of water that is very much needed.
The Tonga-Australian Chamber of Commerce acted as the major supporting organisation. This organisation formed back in 2017, The TACC is focused on helping communities at a grass roots level. In recent days they has been key to helping a network of communication across the islands, to let the Australian community members know about family and loved ones back home. This is in addition to the huge community push for much needed resources and donations that will be freighted to Tonga over the following weeks, as the country still recovers from the impacts of the volcanic eruption and damage from the Tsunami.
